2012 X18D vs 2011 X18D... why so much lighter?

According to the documentation, the 2012 X18D weighs 3250lbs and the 2011 weighs 3555 lbs unladen. My wife and I looked at a 2012 at a local RV show and it seems to be virtually identical to our 2011. Anyone have an idea of what they did to make it drop 300 lbs? All I can think is wall or floor construction. Can't imagine that the appliances changed weight that much.
