I just found this model yesterday. Fits all of my needs. I'm thinking about the outdoor kitchen option. Congrats

Nice, sometimes I wish I got the slide on my BH, and I wish I waited 1 year and got the new colour scheme. The only thing I dislike about the slx's is how small the outside storage areas are compared to the Jayflight series.

Can you sit two people on each side of the dinette? In the pictures it looks a bit small.

Appears to be the same floorplan of the Jayflight 28BHS.

Two adults can sit at the dinette but it's cozy. The couch fits 3 people though.

Thanks, I guess we can add a stool on the end to give an adult a little more room.

How is the queen bed? Is it regular or RV length? I'm sure I'll have more questions in the future!!

Pretty sure they are still using a short queen mattress for the 26bh lines.

By chance my local dealer finally got one of these floor plans in. It was a fully loaded model. I took the family down to look at it today and compare against some of the other 26ft floor plans and the 28ft. I have to say I'm still convinced I want this one next year. The bathroom and extra door is a nice feature. It is also large enough to move around while getting undressed or whatever to get in the shower. Many of the other floor plans had the sink outside the bathroom which left no room to maneuver.
Like you said, the table is cozy but completely doable. I really like the low weight due to the fiberglass construction. Nearly 2,000lbs less than the others, though noted in the price as well. The counter space is really nice. More than most larger models. The queen is short and I was a little disappointed with how firm the mattress is, but I'll just transfer my foam topper over and it'll be fine. I wish it had a sliding door instead of the curtain, but that is minor.
One thing I couldn't figure out was the heater. Does it run off just propane? Is it ducted through the round ceiling vents? I'm assuming that is also where the a/c comes out?
Can you take a picture of your rear outside storage area? I think we'd rather have that than the outside kitchen but would like to see how big it is.
Overall it is a really neat and unique floor plan. Not so big that the kids are locked away in a separate area. Part of why we camp is for family bonding time without all the distractions. The bigger models with the bunkhouse bedroom are really nice but I feel the kids would stay in there all the time. I look forward to hearing your updates as you take it out more.

i'll definitely take some pictures of that compartment and give some measurements. i'm planning on using it to store my towing and leveling gear. as far as the heat goes, it is ducted and runs off the propane. theres a heat vent on the left hand corner of the couch, one in the bathroom and one in the master bedroom. i ran ours for a bit when it was 40 degrees and it got real toasty in about ten minutes. there is also a storage cubby underneath the mattress of the lower bunk.

That is exactly what we would use the storage for as well. The pass-thru just isn't convenient for that type of stuff. Appreciate the heater answer. I wish the a/c unit was a dual a/c and heater. I don't understand why they don't make that at least optional. It certainly isn't hard to do these days.

Hey njdanmc, I notice that you have a 2500 5.7 ram, what gears did you get with it?
