SWMBO and I went up to our selling dealer this morning to pick up our 20MRB from the work they did under warranty. Their service department works Tuesday to Saturday, so there were no service dept. personnel there today.
Anywho, one of the fixes was to make sure all four corners of the dinette slide retracted the same. Looking at the slide from the outside, the lower right corner was not as tight as the other three. This was fixed.
However, after examining the inside, I noticed the seal on the slide was not even. On the front wall of the slide, the seal actually drags the slide side wall. The rear wall, the seal doesn't even touch the slide side wall. I took some pictures
The first two photos show the front wall of the slide and the second two photos are of the rear slide wall. In the rear wall photos, you can see the white line next to the black seal as compared to the first photos where the seal is right against the wall.
If any of you have a White Hawk 20MRB or 23MRB, will you check your slide while it is closed and see if the seal appears to "wipe" both side walls of the slide. The way ours is, it would explain water on the floor when we brought the slide in after a rain storm as the seal didn't wipe the side as it came in.
Thanks in advance,
Murff
