We are heading home today. We spent three nights at Point Mallard in Decatur, AL. The park facilities and sites are "okay." The bike paths are amazing, lots of variety and flat! We would return for the biking, but we are glad that we have our own facilities with our Feather. The Feather has no signs of failures to this point. We have used all of the plumbing, including the shower. The heater worked great for the chilly early morning, and DW made some great treats in the oven!
Our "problems" are small nicks in cabinet doors and a glue-like finger print on a cabinet door. These are likely from the dealer; we have witnessed their sloppy and careless handling of the units several times. We painstakingly removed the glue and preserved the door's finish, and we will touch up the cabinet doors. We will only resort to the dealer if we absolutely have to.
We love our Feather. What a nice move away from our PUP. In a CG of 250 (+/-) sites, we are the only Jay Feather. There have been several older Flight's and a number of Jayco fivers, but no Feathers or White Hawks. Gotta pack up and get her home for a good bath and cover. Our next trip is Thanksgiving!
