35 Degrees and Kozy! 184BH
I store my 184BH at my friends place about 2 miles from my house (on a huge piece of concrete). I take my generator up and plug it in every so often to keep the battery up. Normally I would have taken the battery out and just kept it on a float charger but I was a little behind this year. So long story short...
My battery was pretty far down (about 25%) so I thought it would be best to leave the generator plugged in for a couple hours. I plugged in the generator, fired up the heater, and turned on the television. I figured that I'd just lay down for a couple hours and relax while the battery charged up. The heater cycled for about 5 minutes and quickly made the camper quite cozy. It was 35 degrees outside, and in 2 hours the heater only cycled 1 more time for less than 5 minutes. I was really impressed with how quickly it got comfortable, and how easily it stayed comfortable. I was as happy as a clam watching TV for the next 2 hours.
This is the first year of owning a non-popup camper. We have not done any winter camping. I guess I was just very pleased at how well my campers heater works and how will it is insulated, and thought that I'd pass it on.
