Received notification from Chevrolet that dealers will keep radiator filled with coolant until August 2015 due to the mechanical seal leakage on water pump.

Coming out of automotive manufacturing, all seals leak, but this could be bad news for owners. Never have I seen this before. I have the '12 Traverse.

Don't have Traverse set up to tow.
Just FYIO.

I am. No real issues. Tows great in 4th gear, a little harder to keep it in 5th. 10MPG average. I have done some 4 hour trips and have a 9 hour trip to Boston planned this summer.

I pull a Jayco 161 Octane with my 2014 Traverse. As Quantum stated, it tows great in 4th gear. 9mpg at 63mph (3300rpm).

We had an 09 Enclave that we towed a hybrid similar to what you are asking about. It towed okay I guess. It's weird to tow with a front wheel drive. If it was slick you really had to feather the throttle to keep the tires under control.

Long distances would be a pain since the tank size is small and it gets terrible mileage towing.

We had a water pump go out on ours at <40k miles and it was on it's second steering box.

I pulled my Lance 2180 from Mexico to Fairbanks Alaska and back to British Columbia. Trailer GVWR was 5500 lbs and car was rated at 5200. Most of the pulling was in 4th gear (6 spd.). Everything worked just fine.
