BAL X-Tended-Fit X-Chock adn White Hawks

There has been conversations back and forth about BAL X-Tended-Fit X-Chock (17") and if they will work on the White Hawks. I can confirm that they work great, I went ahead and bought a set.

Good info, especially since we seem to get new Whitehawk owners here quite often now. Are they more expensive then standard X chocks?

Thanks for that confirmation Gary. I thought they were going to work, but was holding out to order them until closer to my delivery date in the event I needed to return them. I will go ahead now and order them now. Thanks! Jay

Question for you....is there a way to lock these larger ones in place? I have a set of the smaller ones from our old trailer still and you can put a padlock through it that would not allow it to be removed (or unscrewed)
We have a seasonal site so I would like to leave them on all year but would feel better knowing they would be difficult to remove if I wasnt there....Thanks!

I would presume through some of the enclosed sections on the Chock itself and then through the wheel would do it.

Gary,

Where did you buy them from? $65 a piece seems like a great price since I haven't found them that cheap yet.

This is the cheapest I've found: http://www.adventurerv.net/bal-xtend...k-p-27020.html
but you have to pay shipping.

Do you notice your axles flexing alot during a sharp angle backing into a campsite? I understand some people think there is alot of flex like the tire would roll off the rim if you backed sharpley into a spot.

Thanks

Yes I noticed that. When I first backed it into the driveway I got out of the truck and about freaked out......Had to pull forward a little to straighten them out..
