Ty, welcome to Jayco owners forum. I as well have a 228. The rear bumber is too flimsy to have a bolt on type bike rack. The only way you are going to get a bike rack is to have a welding shop beef up the back end to allow for a trailer receiver and bike rack to be installed or have a bike rack added to the front of the trailer. I built one on the front of a friends trailer but don't have a picture of it on my phone. If you join the Jayco 228 group here there are a couple of pictures of it there.
