Black Streak Remover...Cheap!
I have spent a fortune on commercial black streak remover for yrs, and I mean yrs...today while putting on new registration license sticker, I cleaned the plate w/window glass/grease cleaner. you know the kind, $1 for a spray bottle of blue juice from the local Dollar General Store. I did an over spray, didn't mean to, but anyways, I used the microfiber cloth to wipe it off and vawalla...black streaks
came off too...so I sprayed another area w/black streaks, wiped, and they too
disappeared. so I did the whole front of the trailer and it was easy. so then I get my can of Honda Spray Cleaner and went over the area w/clean microfiber cloth. it's shines and it's as slick as .... "use your own words here"... ain't gonna ever use that messy commercial foam that is sold in 12 oz bottles again from wally world and CW...

Will give it a try. Just wash down the rig this weekend using Black Streak Remover for canco sold at Walmart. Didn't work. Another suggestion I read but haven't tried yet was Dawn dishwater cleaner. Not sure of the ratio though.

Maybe it was the combo of the blue juice AND the microfiber?

Does it remove the existing wax? I'm going to wash and wax mine next week, and remove the black streaks in the process using Meguires Cleaner Wax. If this "Blue Stuff" can remove the black streaks in the future without removing the wax, it's something I would consider...

@Camper bob....okay, have too admit I don't know! have never waxed the trailer. in the past after removing streaks w/commercial remover I would go over it w/Mequires spray detailer/cleaner. I still do that but used honda spray cleaner/wax this last time...maybe do a small spot w/the blue stuff first...be a bummer to have it remove your wax...

FYI...Glass cleaner (or any product with ammonia) does remove wax from the surface. Another outstanding product for black streak removal and for cleaning the roof is Simple Green. It also removes the wax, but will not leave any streaks. I usually do the steak removal all around the TT, then use a wash/wax product on the whole trailer. Of course, if I'm cleaning the roof, I wash/rinse that first, do black streak removal, then use wash/wax on the trailer. Last thing is washing wheels/tires. I always use hot water on all phases of washing & change water frequently.

ProtectAll. It'll make anything look new. Cheap and very easy to use. Will take off streaks no problem.

X2 on the simple green. I use that on lots of stuff. If your cheap, you can dilute it and it lasts a long time..

glass cleaner does work. I have been using "Spray Power" by Crown. Buy a gallon for $6.50 at Menards . It works awsume. It also removes all the bugs from the front of the HTT without having to scrub and all the awning mildow/crude. I assume Spray Power removes the wax. But I do not care, as I only wax with the liquid car wash with wax in it. I am tooooooo lazy to wax the trailer old school.

Awesome is $1 at the dollar store, and you have to dilute it about 4-1, cleans everything even laundry
