Cabinet vent? Is it by design?

Hey there, on our first spring outing in my new Slx 174BH noticed the draft from cabinets on top of queen beds, traced or to the few Inch opening from cabinet space to wall AC, which directly connected to outside grill of AC... It's there any reason for it or am I missing some cabinet wall over there between cabinet and AC?

Have the same model and issue. I ended up closing the gaps with a combo of expanding foam, foam insulation strips and finally a layer of aluminum HVAC tape. Made a huge difference in the draft over the bed. It was especially bad for us because we installed a vent fan which created a vacuum bringing in cold air from around the AC unit.
