Cable TV External Port On 185RB

After my first season of camping and putting the camper to bed for the winter I have reconsidered getting a TV for the trailer. There is an antenna on the roof that has a crank to raise it up but I do not see and external connection for a coaxial cable. I assume there is none but I won't swear to it. I thought for two days that I didn't have a 12 volt connection on the inside until a friend pointed it out, right on the wall big as a rattlesnake. On this lightweight trailer should I try to mount the TV to the wall? Set it on the dining table or the nightstand? This is a 7' wide trailer. Any thoughts as to an appropriate size of TV. Maybe one thet has a DVD built in??

If it has auxiliary cable hookup it would be close to the shore power a bit above under a rubber cap. If not installed it is easy to do this. As for TV it is your preference, but a smaller TT with around 20 to 24" is large enough, certainly wouldn't go bigger. Where to place it? When you have your TV you have to see what works best for your setting. And if a TV mount works better do so.

We have a 185rb also. There is no outside cable connection. We didn't mount our tv. It's on the counter when at a park. Under the bed pillows when traveling.

No external connection on the 185RB. I'm running the Pedestal TV cable through my emergency window right now for the time being Jack.

Should not be too hard to install one (cable jack). My wife and I enjoy the Saturday college football games, so we have a table we setup outside, and I have a long enough coax cable to run from a full site hookup to the screen room, or we run the coax from the inside through the door to the TV outside.

I do however plan to install an outside cable hookup from the digital antenna (roof); just have not gotten that "round to it" coin yet.

like factory installed. best I've seen.

I added and "AC" outlet that goes to an inverter that I installed behind the radio.

I just bought a 145rb and see no external cable hookup. It's a 2016 model. Can someone tell me where to look? But I really don't think there is one.

I have a 2012 185RB and we mounted a small TV on the wall between the last kitchen upper cabinet and the airconditioner , that made it only a couple feet away from the Coaxial plug above the kitchen counter. and close to a 120 volt plug .We kept the cable long on purpose, so that when we travel we can take it off the wall mount assembly it hangs on and put the TV on the bed under a few pillows so it won't fall off wall during travel.
The wall mount kit was maybe $30 and the TV was a $100 . Make sure each time you set up at park you have the TV search for stations after you press the button on the RV wall next to the coaxial connection.
We found we can see the TV from the dining table/bed and from the queen bed. Of note there is no external coaxial on mine

I just installed a cable connection on our 185RB ..... on the left side behind the refer side wall I drilled a hole for a cable mount receptacle and mounted the external portion to the refer vent with a short cable between ... carefull drilling the vent as it is plastic ....Works great .... Now when cable TV is offerd at a campground we watch in style ..

Our 175RD doesn't have an exterior cable connection either. For the few times we have cable TV available we use a flat piece of cable designed to fit through a window. Bought it on Amazon.

I mounted a tv bracket to the underside of the cabinet that houses the ac. Plenty of room for the nuts to screw onto the bolts. The tv then can push up out of the way (mostly) and you don't have to store it for travel. It is right by the antenna plug. I then ran a cord up the wall and along the curtain rod and plugged it into the sound system. Great sound. It is a 19" tv. I have a 195rb but I think it is identical to the 185, other than the bed.
