Converted Shower to a Closet 154 BH Swift

Thought folks might be interested in sharing some ideas of minor modifications to their rig. My family of 4 really enjoy the 154 BH Swift. I'm sure a 154 is a bit small for many but it works for us--easy to tow, fits in the driveway, provides comfortable sleeping and is 50 times more equipped than our tent.

Just prior to our 14 days excursion to New Hampshire, we converted our shower stall to a closet. I simply secured a board over the tub that can be removed easily. On top I placed plastic shelving from Home D which fit perfectly. Finally, four nice wicker baskets from the craft store. Hamper basket on top and we have all the storage for clothing we need.

The toilet is still fully functional although the shower is temporarily out of commission. While a bathroom remains a must the shower was always optional.

During our 14 days on the road, we kept the rig organized despite the limited space. Can't wait to journey again soon.

Can you post a pic so I can get my brain on it? We don't use our shower either, but we do fill it with clothes and the hamper as you are doing, just not in an organized manner. LOL

Attached is the picture that shows the lightweight shelves and baskets. We just bring the baskets inside our house during packing and don't need to bring luggage.

Thanks for the photo. My wife does something similar, but I think I'll beef it up so as to eliminate stuff falling over in transit.
