Dining table height in WhiteHawk.

We have the dining table and four chairs option in our WhiteHawk. We love it with one exception, The height of the dining table. It is too short for us. I would like to raise it up approximately 2 inches. There seems to be plenty a room between the top of the table in the bottom of the windowsill. Has anybody ever done this? I'm guessing I can take it apart and add some type of spacer to get the desired height.

We took our table apart in our old camper and installed different legs, as we wanted the ones that were silver with the round pipe in the middle, and we wanted two instead of one so that the table would be sturdier. You can buy the pipe piece in different lengths, and so we got the height we anted. No problems after instal.. As long as it is done well, it wont fall apart. I did go back and check my screws regularly due to the road vibration, but they held well. I had put a bit of silicone or plastic nails of some sort in the hole when I attached them and it kept them from moving.

GbandPB,

How about something like this:

http://www.wwhardware.com/base-level...-base-levelers

If the leg is wide enough at the base to drill the hole and pound in the t-nut then you would be good to go.

There are other options as well, take a look at the selection here and you can google leg levelers and get a varity of options.
