Do you go on the roof of your 184BH or other SLX Models?

Getting ready to install MaxAir Vent covers over the vents on the roof. I weigh 300 pounds and don't know if going up there will be a problem (for the roof). The rear vent I can install from a ladder but the front vent requires getting on the roof. Maybe setting a sheet of plywood up first to help spread the weight?

I've been on the roof of my 16SLK a few times. I watched a video put out by Jayco on how strong their roofs are over the competitors; they hold alot of weight before they sag. My dealer stated I could sit up there if I wanted to watch a spectator event if need be.

Wish I had seen this before I posted my own topic. I was wondering the same thing.

I'm 230 and it felt fine when I was up there.
