does 27DSRL have battery disconect from factory?

We have a 2016 DSRL on order and I am trying to get ahead of the game. I have been prereading the owners manual and everything in there talks about(if equipped). Just wondering if you people that have this model can tell me if they come stock with a disconnect or if I will need to install one if I want this option. Thanks.

As far as I know, few (if any) Jayco trailers have a battery disconnect from the factory. Our Jay Flight did not have one from the factory, but I plan to install one.

I'm kind of curious. Is there such a model? I'm looking at their online brochure and don't see that listed anywhere.

I have a 27DSRL and in did not come with a battery disconnect. Bought a nice one for a reasonable price at Harbor Freight and installed it on the battery box.

Our 27DSRL did not come with a battery disconnect. I installed this one as one of our first upgrades. Got it on Amazon for less tha $10.

Ordered and received a marine grade disconnect. Want one on it for sure. Also, everything in the manual that I have read indicates that these units do not even come equipped with a battery. Is that accurate? Every electrical instruction in the manual says in parenthesis (owner supplied). REALLY? Wow.

The trailer comes with a battery. You cant legally tow it without one since the break away emergency brake requires a battery to work. i ordered a second battery as an add on.

The battery is not supplied by Jayco so all the manuals etc. say that.

As far as I know, the dealers ALWAYS include the battery (there must be one to be legally towed) but I'm sure when we buy the trailer, we also paid for the battery.

Until you can add a disconnect you can always pull the inline fuse.

No battery disconnect, Pull the fuse if you need to. I installed dual batteries with a cut off switch. Keep TT plugged in always.
