Electric tongue jack problem repair or purchase?

My White Hawk's tongue jack is making some serious grinding noises and looks like it will seize up soon.

I'm curious if I get it fixed under warranty if I'll just be getting another cheap jack that Jayco equips on the trailers

Given how much we use the trailer I'm ok with purchasing a good or more powerful model.

Get it fixed or get new?

Get another cheapo for free under warranty and then buy the upgrade when it pukes. It should at least last a year or two.

Had mine done under warranty, dealer replaced it with a Atwood 3500. This one operates a lot quicker than the OEM one that crapped out. Fortunately I had my socket set with me to operate it manually. Apparently there was supposed to be a crank handle that was supposed to come with the trailer. The new one came with a new handle.

Having mine replaced under warranty. Less than a year old. The o-ring under the bubble level was cut in 2 becuase is was mis-aligned under the level. It let water in and it seems to go right for the motor. Started sounding like grinding too until it died. To be honest, I liked using the hand crank better as I can raise and lower the trailer faster with the hand crank. We will see how the replacement jack is. Maybe it will be better than the original.
