Extra Television in Whitehawk

I have a Whitehawk 28DSBH and woudl like to mount a small tv in the bedroom...I purchased an inexpensive swing arm mount from Amazon that a few peopl had recommended on this site. I am getting ready to mount it. The "Mount TV here" sticker is quite low on that wall...the outlet and jack are up higher. Does anyone know if there is a stud that runs vertically where that sticker woudl be placed, or is the only blocking directly behind that sticker? I woudl like to place it higher, right next to the outlet if possible, so I am not kicking it all the time!

Also, do you secure the swing arm when traveling, if so, any novel ideas for what to secure it to, or what you use?

On our 27DSRL the mount point for the TV in the bedroom is near the access panel for the shower water line connections to the faucet. Was able to look in there to see the wood behind the TV mount point is placed horizontally, perpendicular to whatever studs are in that partition. I know your floorplan is different, but it may be possible the arrangement for the additional TV mount is done in the same fashion.

You can tap on the wall and determine by the sound where your TV mounting area is. Not sure which mount you have, but I have the VideoSecure TV Wall Mount number ML10B 1E9 for $14.99 from Amazon. It has Hex head bolts that are on the swing arm and tilting
mount. I tighten mine as much as possible and have found that I do not have to secure my television (24" Toshiba) in any other way.
