First trip out this year.

While I managed to sneak off last Fall for a couple of days, my wife had never camped in our new 197. I towed it from home up to where she works, a 960 km jaunt, then we went down to Meadow Lake for one night, and back up towards Dillon for a peaceful afternoon and night at al little place called Beattie Lake. Not another soul there! The old Sub guzzled plenty of gas, but I'm not making any payments either.

Might break down and buy a new or near new Ford F150. We used them as patrol vehicles at the last detachment I worked at, and I was impressed with them.

Sounds like a great time. Im sure it was pretty nice just you and your wife being the only ones there. Probably pretty relaxing.

We have a 2005 F150. It sure does the job. I know DH is wanting a new one though!

Countless nights as kids and young adults in a pop-up, hardside TT and several tents!
