I believe they changed the floor construction in the 2016 whitehawks. Ours is a 2015 bought in May. We haven't noticed anything yet with the floor being soft, but will wait and see in time. We too are planning on keeping this one for a longer period of time.

We have had our White Hawk DSRE for 2 years and use it regularly with no spots.

I have a 2011 Jay Feather with the foam and luan floor, walls and ceiling. I read about people who had issues with this type of floor prior to purchasing ours. Some owners made repairs to their floors which you can search for on this forum. I noticed when I added 3" of closed cell insulation to the underside of our trailer that
there was a cross support every 30 inches except for one area that went close to four feet. I had a steel "I" beam cut that I placed in the middle of the longer span.
So far everything has been great. I thought I could always add a plywood floor should the need arise. I think the floors should holdup but need to be watched for any changes.

We now notice soft spots in our Whitehawk as well. It's still under warranty but after doing a bit of reading on the forum, it's unlikely we will be happy with the outcome. We were thinking of trading in for a 28 foot eagle bunkhouse but I also ran across the thread about that being a bit much for an F150. May have to do the TV and TT all over again.

We just traded our '09 Eagle SL 315BHDS FW in for this Whitehawk, and although we love the layout and the ease of towing with the TT, I'm beginning to regret the decision. Loved our FW and the quality of construction but the expense of having a larger TV for the sake of just hauling the trailer was becoming a pain.
Well I guess I wait and see what they say when I bring it in. But I am afraid I will have to put up a fight to get anything done.

I'm in the same boat as Snaporaz.I can see nothing but more issues with the floor but my 2014 Siverado won't tow anything heavier and I really don't want to trade a year old truck too.

I have had no problem with my White Hawk floor. The new ones now have 5/8 plywood floors but are about #600 heavier.

5/8 plywood is not what we can call very thick, many rv with plywood floor suffer also from soft spot, even the Cardinal FW at 50k $ so.....enjoy the trailer and stop worry ;-)
