front trim pulling off wall

While washing my WH i noticed that the front right side trim was pulling of the frnt wall approximatly for 2 feet starting at the bottom of the wall. Its fairly easy to see since the butyl tape left the mark at the original location.

I tried to tighten the trim screw but 5 of them are stripped ! Now i wonder if the trim screw are only holding the trim or if they are also joinning the front and side wall together .? What do you think ?

Still under warranty?

I'd call your dealer.

No picture yet I'll try tomorrow, and yes still warranty 1 year and half left ;-) I was just curious to know if the screw hold the wall together ( side and front ) or just the trim

thanks for your reply guys

Doubtful, the walls are attached long before the siding is applied..

Sounds like possible water damage. Were the screws that came out rusty?

Well I removed 4 screw none of them were rusted and a lots of butyl tape came out with the screw, thats a good thing so I put everything back and I add 4 screw evenly spaced to hold the molding, not a bad story after all, but Jayco should calm down the trigger happy employee with is electric tool
