Furrion Backup Camera

I have a 2017 27 DSRL and looking at the Furrion backup camera. Jayco told me that my trailer has been wired, so took the middle marker light off. What i saw was a white wire and blue wire, part of it went down a hole right behind the marker light. So i pulled the wire out and it loops back and goes somewhere, has anyone seen this? As well i am sure i could cut into the blue wire as it is hot and do the same with the white wire. Its like Jayco is telling me to do this??

Any assistance would be helpful

Dave

Just installed mine yesterday. If you pull enough wire out there should be a stand alone black wire with a cap on it....The Hot Wire"

If you use the black wire your camera will be powered 24/7.

I spliced into the marker lights so my camera is only active when the clearance lights are on.

Good Luck
