Generator Question

I have a 2007 254 an was wondering if a generator rated at 28 amps would be enough to operate the 13,500 a/c. I know I cant run everything off of it, but the a/c and tv would be nice. Any suggestions?

I have a Champion 3500/4000 watt generator (29+AMPS) and it will run my 15K A/C just fine. I do run the fridge and water heater on gas when I use the generator. You're generator is close to mine with a little smaller A/C. I would give it a try and see. If you do this on a continuous basis I would get a surge pretector and add to the mix unless it is a Honda or Yamaha or some other brand Inverter generator. My Champion's power is considered to not be as clean as an Inverter type so I added a surge protector in the sequence.
