hanging things on interior walls

hey guys so i wanted to put up a medicine cabinet in the bathroom and there are no wall studs, i received the construction diagram from jayco and the spot i wanted to put it is just foam. its light weight so i was thinking some kind of screw with 20lbs double sided tape. do you guys have any better suggestions? also my wife wants me to put up a few other things like a spice rack above the kitchen counter ill probably be screwing into foam again. Thanks

At the office, the soap dispensers are applied to the walls using 6"x6" of double-faced tape. They take the paper off the sheetrock when they have to be replaced.

So the stuff is stronger than the wall.

Double-faced tape along with a couple of hollow wall anchors would probably do fine.

Make sure you hang it level!

Forget the double sided tape.. it will just pull the paper off the wall. Use double the normal amount of collapsing wall anchors.. blind screw type..

I did the same as blackfly and just screwed the medicine cabinet where the mirror was and I too hit a stud. I used the wall panel join to know where it was and put the screws there.

ok so i used oscar rivets that were suggested to me in this forum, they are seriously the best thing to use to hang things. i also backed it up with 4 pieces or 20 lbs double sided tape but dont think i needed it. got a light weight cabinet from lowes and just had to installed a door knob.
