heat source for 184BH

Hi there,

My name is Rosen and our family is considering purchasing the 184BH unit. However, I could not find what does this unit use for heat. Can someone let me know what the heat source for those units is?

Thank you.

First of all - Welcome to the forum! Glad you are thinking about a Jayco -- we like em

Feel free to ask any questions here - nothing is a stupid question when you are looking to make an investment in something like this and you will find very friendly and helpful folks here.

I have not seen that unit in person, but according to the brochure it looks like a standard wall mount heater (non-ducted). It is very easy to use, you simply make sure your propane is on and turn on the thermostat. A lot of folks prefer to use a space heater to conserve propane, but I like the ease and comfort of the gas system if I am just using it occasionally.

Here is a link to the brochure if you dont have it already --

thank you

Thank you for the responses. I did look all over the website and brochures but nowhere did I find the word "furnace" associated with the SLX models.

Thank you
