How to de-winterize.

Hello
I just brought home our 2016 Whitehawk 24RKS.
I need to de-winterize it and flush the tanks etc.

How do I go about doing this?

Cheers

Todd

No need to flush the tanks, they'll empty as you go.

Open all the faucets (hot and cold) but keep the hot water tank bypassed and open the outside valves for your tanks.(black & gray) Flush water through the city connection until all faucets run clear. This can be done at the CG on your first trip. Once this is done, you can un-bypass the HW heater.

Doing the de-winterizing at the campground is certainly easy and convenient. Since it is new you might want to de-winterize at home first so you can sanitize the water system at the same time. Instructions for sanitizing should be in the manual, it is for me.

When flushing the lines I find after the flow is no longer "pink" it is still "foamy" for a bit. I flush till there's no foam, and then a bit more.
