Round steps on bare feet are not very comfortable. We had a motorhome with round steps and just one trip up to the over head sleeper was enough for me. I found a small wood ladder with flat steps.

2011 Eagle 330RLTS with just about every option.
Dodge SRW 1 ton Cummins powered.

I was born with nothing and I still have most of it left.

We just got a Swift 154 & this [see attachment] is what I did to solve the kid/bunk problem. Though I *do* like the look of the PVC arrangement....

We use a plastic milk carton container to get to the top bunk.... turned upside down. When not in use we store gear in it.
