Interior LED lights

Has anyone modifies their interior lights knock down the glare? Something like spray painting the inside of the lens cap or putting tape in there?

Yes, the light directly above our bed was WAY too bright. I put a piece of Reflectix inside the cover that covers about 90% of the lens. That allows some light to peak out the sides, giving sufficient light to read in bed, plug in a cell phone charger, etc.
