Thumbs down iRV6500 stereo bluetooth stops Aux in from working

Hi -- I have a 2015 Jayco X213 with the stock iRV6500 radio system in it hooked up to the TV on Aux In. When we originally got the trailer this connection worked fine and put the TV sound on the overhead speakers (and the outdoor speakers as well if we forgot to turn off the 'C' audio output).

Once I set up a Bluetooth pairing between my phone and the radio, I can no longer play the TV through the speakers. Even with the Bluetooth on my phone turned off, the Aux in will play for a few sections, then the display message on the radio flickers (I think it displays 'BT NOCONN' for just an instant then goes back to displaying 'AUX IN' back and forth) and when that first flicker happens the sound from the TV cuts out.

We've tried resetting the radio back to factory defaults, but nothing seems to help. We have our X213 back in the shop for the dealer to look at it.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this with the stock iRV6500 radio?

Thanks!

Mitch

Radio replaced under warrenty

We took our X213 into the dealer for its annual checkup and some warranty work and they replaced the radio as defective. I'm still wondering whether what we experienced might be a bug in the firmware. I'm a bit leery of setting up another Bluetooth connection on it, but we'll see how it goes.

I think you're spot on with bad firmware.

Whatever caused the issue in our original radio, the replacement does not exhibit the problem -- I was able to connect via Bluetooth from my phone and play music through the radio and the problem did not reoccur.
