Jay FeatherSport 165 - why the large weight discrepancy?

I have a 2010 Jayco Jay Feather Sport 165. According to the brochure, the unloaded weight is 2910 pounds. In 2011, the UVW dropped to 2835 pounds. In 2012, the UVW dropped to 2610 pounds, a 300 pound difference from 2010. I can't see any appreciable changes to the interior, exterior, or accessories from 2010 through 2010. Where did those 300 pounds go?

Its either a change of materials to something lighter or they eliminated some standard items and added them to an option package instead.

Some of the 300 lbs may have been due to elimination of two windows (front and back), the "tin" front window shield, and a sink. Also the tall cabinet storage left of the reefer, and small closet in rear of travel trailer were eliminated.

In return, the front seating area was expanded and a larger table. A further change was an increase in size of the top bunk with more head room.

The same thing happened to the 28BHS after 2010. It lost a few hundred pounds in overall weight and about a hundred pounds in tongue weight.
