Jayco 199

Does anyone know why the 199 had a short production run?

I did not know that. We just had work at a dealers and saw one on sale that was really cheap. We would have loved to buy it because we really like it but we need to get a new towing vehicle first. Now you say they are no longer making the 199. I'd like to know why, too.

Me, too. I just bought a 2010 model and absolutely love it. The 199 is a "dealer only" special, whatever that means.

Talked to a rep at Jayco the other day and he couldn't give me an answer either.

It is most likely a supply/demand thing. When something is in high demand they usually keep making it. If sales are slow on a model it is dropped for a while and then reintroduced a year or two later.

That may be the case. Just looked at the 197 and it's almost
The same. Just a few slight changes.
