Question LED replacement bulbs

Hello, I own a 2013 Jayco White Hawk Ultra Lite Series M-31 DSLB and recently changed all the interior light bulbs to LED. So... since switching even with ALL the lights on it's so dim. HELP...any recommendations on a better LED bulb option?

This is what I use:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00EL13ISA...d=CYSEEYYUC9R4

They're not the cheapest in the world, but they're just about an exact match for the original regular incandescent bulbs in brightness and color.

I purchased the same lights as CB for my single socket lights. I purchased these https://www.amazon.com/GRV-13-5050-W...ights+interior for all the others and couldn't be happier. No "blue" tint and an exact match to the original 12v that were in there while using 1/10th the power.

Did the same thing on our '13. I shopped eBay. When looking at a replacement I would look for Color Temperateure (Kelvin) and lumen (brightness). My replacements were very close in color and brightness to the originals.
I've bought for 2 units and always get some extras as the cheaper ones tend to have more failures. But for the price shipped from China it's still cheap.

Do you have the link to the bulbs you purchased from Ebay?

As far as temperature and lumens, I would recommend you NOT buy an element unless there is an actual numeric Kelvin rating listed. The term "warm white" is subjective and covers a sizeable temperature range. I started out with some labeled "warm white" and my trailer literally looked like a mobile crime lab. Maybe I didn't get what I ordered or something else was wrong, but they were not good at all.

IIRC, the range that most closely matches the original incandescent bulbs is 2700-3200K. I don't remember the lumens though. I believe the lumens are determined by the number and size of diodes. This is usually listed in the "SMD" specs? For example, you could be looking at two panels with 48 individual elements, but each of the elements can range in size from "20" to "50". The higher number means a larger actual diode, which means more light. So if you have a 48x50 panel, that's going to be pretty bright. More bright than say a 48x30 panel.

I could have some of that mixed up a little, but the concept is sound. It's been a LONG time since I've shopped LEDs.

I have tried purchasing LED's starting 5 years ago. I started with the made in China models, CHEAP and performed like they were cheap. Individual LED's started dying one by one. I tried many on Amazon and unfortunately the did not come close to the specified Kelvin range (color), most were not bright enough. On purchase from Amazon, I received the SAME LED that I purchased from China. The bulbs all seemed to be in the 300 Lumens, way to dim. Most of the LED's did not have a Lumen rating but said Bright or Very bright. DW hated them.

I found a site that SO FAR (3 years and going strong) meet my requirements. They list the EXACT (as much as you can specify a LED) Kelvin (Color), and they have the Lumens listed with the bulb also. I purchased 1 (natural light) and 1 (cool white) rated between 900 and 1100 Lumens which is equivalent to about a 75+ watt bulb. After testing them (DW approval) I purchased 8 for the living area and 4 Cool White LEDs for the bathroom (Excellent choice per DW), nice and bright for shaving and doing the hair. I also purchased 2 Cool white LEDs for the light above the sink, which DW is very happy with. With 8 in the living area, it is plenty bright for us. They stay on all day and into the night (powered by the Sun of course). They will cost you a little more for each bulb, 10 bulbs gets you a discount.

They include an adapter for each type of socket.

I've had very good success with my cheap Ebay leds. They are flat panel 48 that came with the adapters. That was 5 years ago shortly after we bought our trailer. They have performed flawlessly except the tape that holds them on is starting to give way now. As Redhorse said, look for Color Temperateure (Kelvin) and lumen (brightness).

Oops, posted to the wrong thread. It's relevant but was meant for a newer one...
