Lube
Good rule of thumb on those EZ lube axles, it is easy to lube them as you just pump a little grease into them, I strongly suggest that you pull the wheels and clean the bearings every 2 years, that way you can inspect the bearings and the brakes. I am a heavy equipment mechanic and have replaced bearings in my EZ lube axles more than once. A thought to go with that, when a bearing hub is totally full of grease as with the EZ Lube axles the bearings tend to run warmer than with just a good coating of grease. Use a high impact bearing lube as it will protect your bearings better and will not break down when heated. I also use it on my hitch ball, Reese makes a great foam ball cover that will keep the grease on the ball and not your pants
