Manually Cranking Sofa Slideout on X20E

Our 2013 X20E owner's manual says that in case of motor failure you can manually crank the sofa slideout to close it. I thought I'd familiarize myself with it beforehand, hoping never to have a failure of course.

I don't have the manual with me, but as I recall it had a dark illegible B&W photo that showed you needed to connect a socket (I think it was) somewhere under the sofa. I've never been able to locate exactly where. If you could explain it or post a photo I'd be appreciative.

Just guessing here, but It's likely going to be underneath the trailer on the slide motor.

On our 2014 X23B the couch has some loose material hanging down to the floor in the front. Behind that was a piece of paneling that hides the motor some duct work and wiring. I removed that to store shoes underneath. I now have access to the motor and track to lube it or manually move the slide.
