my bike rack

I hated that our bikes had to go into the trailer and take up so much of our room in our X254, so we purchased this to eliminate this problem. Now we can take 5 bikes and not worry about the room or the dirt that the bikes hold on to!

Will you miss being able to lift the bed cover?

Its actually a Raleigh bike, but the color reminded one of my buddies of the DeWalt color and got the stickers made. Its a conversation starter....
We didn't really put anything in the back of the truck bed anyway except for firewood and a couple of things that we didn't want to carry in the camper the tailgate still comes down so I still have access to the bed...somewhat anyway.

How does it mount to the bed. Clamps or do you have to drill holes. Looks like a great idea

I had to drill holes into the tonneau cover for the bolts to go through then I sealed it with black silicon.
I got everything from orsdirect.com if anyone is interested, they were the cheapest I found, but I had to kinda make my own package up. it was still expensive with the five bike racks that I had to get
