Not Grounded!!

We have had our TT for one week. Went to the storage unit and found out I had no battery power. Traced the wires and found the ground post screw head had broken off. I drilled a new hole and put a new bolt and lock washer/nut to hold into place. Power restored.

Glad this happened close to home! Official maiden voyage scheduled for this next weekend!!

(Posted this in case someone else runs into this issue.)

Well that is what a PDI is for. On our new 24fbs the tub p trap was not even connected to the drain. I had a fun time getting in that small area to tighten it up. Good thing I checked it before we went out. The PDI was good but this just got missed. So now I just move on and keep checking items as they come up. We don't live in a perfect world. Thanks for the watch out on the ground lug.

Always best to visit the TT a few days before a camping trip to verify its operation. This way, it gives you time to correct the issues prior to discovering them once you arrive, and perhaps without tools to fix.

Don't forget the tow vehicle either. Check its tire pressure, fluids, etc.
