Questions about Skylark FKV model

Can't find any pictures with the sofa set as a bed...does it open flat ? If yes, is there a gap between the L-dinette on the opposite side when set as a bed ?

Also, would be possible to replace the original axle with one with increased load limit ? That 500lbs load capacity is sooo low....

There is a gap and yes, it opens flat. I'll try to put up a picture soon.

Just went out and snapped a couple pictures. The table has two positions, and in the pictures it is in the position with the largest gap I believe.

Thank you Zombied ! Looks like the width of the sofa opened flat would be similar to the width of the dinette turned to bed, just a bit shorter.

I am just trying to figure out sleeping options as the "double bed" at the back is most likely a challenge for two adults ?

The double bed is a challenge for us. We have a 11 year old boy and a 13 year old girl. My wife takes the dinette bed, daughter takes the sofa. Son and I get the double. It worked out easier that way.

We set the dinette and couch to the bed position and set a queen size air mattress over both areas for a queen sleeping area.
