Actually, that's a pretty good slope. To put that into perspective, I am an airline pilot. When we descend to a lower altitude, we plan to do so at a 3 degree angle. If you were driving 60 mph and descending a 6 degree hill, you would be losing 600 feet per mile. As far as a 3 degrees goes, that's pretty good for front to back!
