Question RV Cover for Hummingbird

Any one have any suggestions of a good RV cover for the Hummingbird?
19'9" total length.
Needs to be good in wind and rain.
Pacific Northwest gets wet and cold. (Not long weeks of freezing cold
.)

Most RV owners choose the covers made by ADCO;

Another vote for ADCO. On the second season with a Travel Trailer Designer Series Tyvek Plus Wind Universal cover. I'm also in the Pacific Northwest and am happy with the job it's doing. Since the Hummingbird is a new model you might need to find a comparable R-Pod model from an external dimensions perspective and use that to locate a universal size that should fit your unit using ADCO's Sizing tool.

Adco would be fairly good choice budget wise, but there are some reports that they are not holding that good in wind, and the fact that they are "semi-custom" would mean that you'll get cover that is too big for your rv and you'll have to deal with excess material by strapping, tucking, etc.
I'm currently looking at custom sunbrella cover for my trailer: http://www.calmarkcovers.com

I'm currently looking at custom sunbrella cover for my trailer: RV Covers 6 YEAR warranty, rv cover, trailer cover, 5th wheel cover, toy hauler covers. CalMark RV Cover Co - Sunbrella RV Cover

You can get an ADCO cover custom made to your specifications as well. Same basic process as the Calmark covers. However, I've not really seen any issues with wind and my universal cover. My trailer is only 7' wide but there are plenty of appropriately placed straps and buckles to allow it to be snugged up nicely.

Adco has some weird semi custom process, you can customize length exactly, but they don't even ask for width nor sloped surfaces...

I have a new ADCO Tyvek Designer RV cover that is designed for long storage and wind. it was not cheap but neither was my TT. I bought mine from a friend of mine that owns a RV repair shop in Delta by the tunnel.

I bought this one for our 17RK, the one designed for the R-Pod 179 should fit well.

I'll let you know how it fits once we pick our TT up next week.

I figure if it will last at least one season it will give me time to build our permanent structure, but I'm guessing that it will last at least a couple seasons.

of course if I was in the States, it would be far easier ordering! (And cheaper)

I purchase a ADCO 3480 18.1-20ft for my RK, Its fits pretty good. You have to lower the the antenna. It has zipper access for the door and the the storage door under the bed. The side rolls up and it has a built in velcro strips to hold up the flaps after you roll it up. It has all the straps you need to tight it down. I am pretty happy with it. It was with get the cover or pay 1K for somekind of protection spray. Best Wishes

Narrowed down to two

I have it narrowed down to two.

ADCO 52240
https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00E9HCCSI/...1FL0S98Z&psc=1

and

Classic Accessories OverDrive PermaPRO Deluxe
https://www.amazon.com/Classic-Acces...ct_top?ie=UTF8

My thinking is to go for the ADCO. The reviews are better, or seem to be.

Did you remove the radio antenna or just fold it over?

I was thinking about possibly getting one of those short rubber antennas.

RV Cover for Hummingbird

Just loosened it and folded it over. Easier than I first thought.

Just got a 2017 17RK and I would like to buy a cover. It seems most agree on the ADCO but it looks like the
Classic Accessories OverDrive PermaPRO Deluxe R-Pod Cover has the door in the right place? Do all Hummingbirds have the roof mounted A/C and HDTV antenna? Any thoughts greatly appreciated.

It looks likes the Classic Overdrive Perma Pro has the door in the right place for the 17RK and the ADCO does not? I'm thinking of getting it for that reason. Any thoughts? Thanks

Thumbs up

The ADCO has an opening for the door, the panel easily unzips.
Also it has a panel in the front for easy access to the storage.
I am very pleased with how easy it was to put on hummy and the quality is great.
The picture in the above post shows the open panel to the door.

I toyed with that idea. I'm very pleased with the Adco, after two months of unusual (for pacific west coast) snow and freezing temperatures, it still looks like new and did the job perfectly. Quality is great.
