Second Time out with Jayco SLX 195RB- Water Heater Problems

Hello, Wondering if anyone can offer some advice on water heater problems? This was our second time out with our 2016 Jayco SLX 195 RB. We have never been able to get the hot water heater to produce hot water. It heats the water only until it is lukewarm at best. The weird thing is when we first turn the faucet on the water is really hot but just as suddenly that is gone and what remains is lukewarm. Can someone point us in the right direction?

do you have to light it manually, when i turn mine to pilot and push the red button nothing happens , i have to turn it wide open wait a minute or so then use a lighter to lite it, once i light it it works fine.

I actually have the same issue, i had it in for some warranty work and brought it up as it appears the pilot line is slightly crimped. Dealer told me its normal, but i am not satisfied with having to stand at the water heater for 10 min just to get it to fire up.

I think I would have to call BS on that haven't had mine to the dealer. but if they told you the line was crimped they should have fixed it sounds like a lazy dealer to me

Check the thermostat setting on the water heater. Should be an adjustable dial.
