Slide motor

Does anyone know how to access the slide motor on a 197? I have looked everywhere and can not for the life of me find the motor.

I do not know for sure what slide system you have. I did look at some pictures of your trailer on line. It looks like you might have the Schwintek slideout system from Lippert industries. Take a look at this video and see if it looks like your system.

I believe you hit the nail on the head. The controller is much like the one in the video. Tomorrow I'm going to put the slide out and make certain that our system is like they one in the YouTube video.

dlfeather, Thank-you for providing the link to the slide out. Much appreciated. I read most of my manuals but I wish they would have let me know about this link when I bought the trailer. The guy who did the walk through had no idea how to put the slide in manually. I read about it but this video puts a whole new light.
