Spare tire mount

I'm looking for some suggestions on how I might possibly mount my spare tire under the frame up front under the battery / LP tank area of our 18 S RB. I'd like to keep it as simple as possible since I have limited tools. (No welder) My reason for wanting to relocate the spare is because it interferes with our bicycle rack on the rear bumper. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

Toss it in the back of the truck?

If your bike rack is actually mounted on the bumper, I'd probably consider moving the bike rack to a different location instead of moving the spare tire. The bumpers on the ultra lites are pretty flimsy and your bikes will do some serious bouncing back there. I've read stories of welds on racks breaking and bumpers falling off.

I mounted my spare tire behind the rear axel fabricated with some galvanized angle iron with continuous holes in it (like they use for overhead door hangers) and some 3/8 treaded rod. 2 quality rubber bungee straps hold the spare in place. Also left the cover on it. Don't just use the bumper to hang the bicycles on. Use a proper welded frame which will take the force off the bumper.

I am going to install one of these from Bal this spring. I have the same issue with my bike rack welded on the rear of the trailer frame. I don't want to keep throwing the tire in the box of the truck, it seems to always be in the way.
