Storing at Home and Slides
About six months ago I moved to a home with acreage allowing me to store my RV at my home. It has made maintenance work so much easier to do. It is also so much easier to check on it periodically, to prep before a trip, and to clean up after one.
I have been keeping the RV plugged into 30 amp power and have kept my slides open. It's nice to be able to go in there anytime with everything all setup and functional. However, I have been wondering if there are any concerns with keeping the slides open for so long. Wear and tear from exposure? The RV is not under any trees so nothing is dropping onto it. It does get a fair amount of sun right onto the front cap... Ugh! Already have fade so I wax a lot but just sort of accept it.
Thought about the slides being extended? No big deal? Better to keep them closed?
