Sweaty windows

On a cold day Temp at 35 and inside 68 my windows are sweaty to the point they start dripping. I have single glass. What are you guys doing for this?? do you think any moisture might be dripping under the window frame into the TT ???

Most open a vent or window to let moist air out. A few run a dehumidifier. By opening a vent or window, you will lose some warm air, but it is better than all the moisture :-)

It is quite common to have this happen under your conditions it is condensation . With my older rig we would camp in October around the same temp and if you had a squeegee you could get a glass of water.

Both cooking and breathing put a lot of moisture into the air. If the moisture stays inside, it condenses on the cold glass.

With that big of a temp difference between inside and outside you can experience that. What kind of trailer do you have? Cracking a vent or window will help but not eliminate it in my trailer. A dehumidifier is a good option.

Your window frames should have weep holes in the bottom specifically to drain the condensation.

I just mop mine off with a towel once or twice a day depending on how bad it gets; only had to do it once so far.

Had the problem, just bought a Ivation GDM36 dehumidifier, hoping this will help eliminate excessive moisture build up.

We open the bathroom vent like 3 inches and crack a window, heat was set at 65ish....no sweating. Worked just fine this last weekend with the same temperatures.

Yes open a vent, when cooking use you vent fan. I have the double pane windows. Have not had that happen yet in this camper. My others all the time it got cold out. Always open vent alittle.
