Swift SLX AC....

My question/s is/are, has the AC leaking/spilling issue on the inside of the camper been addressed and corrected on the 2012 models by Jayco factory?

Going to dealership tomorrow too look at 154 BH and 184 BH.
This issue and depending what his responses are will be a deciding factor.

I understand first year model gremlins but w/as much attention this issue/problem has generated, it should no longer be a problem. There was
even a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) sent to the dealers on how to modify and correct the problem on 2011 models.

Thanx for your input

We were told that the recall only applied to models with specific serial numbers, because there was no issue with ones built after a particular serial number. So my guess is, everything is OK with new models.

We have a 2012 Swift154BH...the drip pan was already installed at the factory. We did not have the dripping issues at all and we camped all summer with it and had the Ac running constant for days and days in very humid weather. It is my opinion that you can buy the 2012's with confidence.

Etothepii and Camprock, many thanks to you both for taking time to answer.

Etothepii, I have followed your threads addressing your issues with the AC. Thanks
for the postings as they provided info otherwise I would have not known about any AC issues. Do hope all is well with yours. Thanx again!

Camprock, your posted reply sure has lowered my "Pucker Factor" down too a very comfortable level. Knowing this tomorrow as wife and I visit the dealer will certainly make the day a lot more pleasant. Thanx!

Sincerely,
Terry in Tn
