Thanks God for the two years warranty

Man o man that I am not happy tonight. My WH cannot leave me alone there is always something. Tonight water coming in from two sliding windows that my dealer have just replaced for the very same reason, however the quality of the new window is even worse than the original.

Before that they search for almost a year ( on 2 or 3 occasions )before finding a water leaks coming from the slide out, water was coming in from many screw hidden behind the strip of a seal. The water was migrating in the aluminum structure to leaks between the floor and the wall.

Before that the water heater was leaking.

Before that the 2 faucet, tub and sink were becoming hard to operate so they changed both.

Before that the changed the bedroom door damaged during the construction of the RV.

Before that they had to change the slide out wall due of a 2 inch crack in the fiberglass not cause by water damage apparently.

Before that they fixed a leak coming from the heater vent.

Now I am waiting for the end of the season to get the soft spots at a few seams on the floor to be repaired.

I wont mention the outside speaker.... and the out of level main door frame.

thanks God for the 2 years warranty, Thanks God for Jayco standing by it, and Thank God for my dealer that is trying hard, the last window install is actually their first booboo .

I love to camp but if this continue i'll go back to condo and hilton .....

In conclusion for me tonight... Jayco warranty is great, their product, well not better than the competion in my case

ok now I feel better ..... its of my chest ....

Must have been the last build for that day? They should have lemon laws in Canada and the USA of RV's. It seems to get worse with the fast pace production due to the demand.
Thor is taken over so there will be some changes....lets hope for the better.

I just got my new one on the 3rd of August. I was surprised that Texas lemon laws do cover travel trailers... The dealer had a legal form that I had to sign that described that fact and my signature was required by the state as acknowledgement that I understood that the laws are in effect. So far I can't find anything on mine. Maybe it was built on Wednesday not long after lunch...

I must have been lucky. Our 2012 unit has been virtually flawless and has never been back to the dealer for anything. I did fix a few minor things while under warranty because it would've been more expensive just for the fuel to drag it back to the dealer. Plus the dealership would've had it for a month for a 30 minute fix.

WOW, I was reading somewhere that someone that had a lot of documented problems, the Manufacturer replaced his entire trailer since it was still under warranty. Probably wouldn't hurt to talk with Jayco about it?

I have had numerous issues with our new Eagle 284BHBE, not big ones but many little issues that NONE of our previous trailers had. We thought purchasing a higher end model might ensure for quality, but alas, it's all about the bottom line and quantity over quality.

Right on, I've said it many times here on this board despite whats many beleive the price paid have absolutly nothing to do with the quality of construction , and Ill stick with my opinion :-)

There *is* a manufacturer with a *3* year warranty now, you know... I hear their designs are rather grand...

Not that I have anything against Jayco in particular. This is my first trailer, so still trying to adjust to the new normal... Lots of maintenance!
