Tried to go camping

Well, I guess it just wasn't meant to be to go camping today. Took the day off from work, loaded up the truck, start to fill the fresh water tank and ended up popping the filler neck loose. Got that repaired after 2 hours and then I could not find my battery strap. Went o the RV store and got another one. Got the battery installed and secured, back my truck up to hook up and find out there is no power to the charge wire from my truck. Went to check fuses to my truck and it begins to down pour......gave up trying to head out. Just as well, there was a prediction for possible thunderstorm and the temps are supposed to drop to 3 Celsius during the night. Maybe we can get one night in tomorrow....

I know how ya feel! We were debating on going to Tawas and the owner called to tell us if we were planning on coming to stay home. Guess they got hit with ice and lots of rain...maybe next week!

Turns out it wasn't the fuse, had power going thru the contacts. Checked the wiring at the trucks 7 pin wiring and took some tape off and lo and behold....wires fell apart from corrosion. When the guy who installed and wired up my canopy when my truck was new had tied into the power wire for my 7 pin and did not seal it from the elements other than tape it.
