unplug digital antenna amplifier ?

On my first trip with my 2017 Jayco Feather 7 23RD trailer I noticed the campground provided cable TV reception was extremely fuzzy. A camping trailer friend in another state (he has a different make and model trailer) said I needed to unplug the digital antenna amplifier to resolve this problem. However he could not tell me where this digital antenna amplifier might be located in my trailer. Any help is appreciated.

Follow the coax from your TV to the wall. On the plate where the coax connects you will see a little black button and a little green light. If the light is on the over the air amplifier is on. Push the little black button and the green light will go out and the amp is then off. You want it off when using cable from an external source and on when your using your roof antenna.

Congratulations on your first trip with your Jay Feather and welcome to the forum.

Sorry I can't help with your question (no TV in our trailer), but I'm sure you'll hear from several folks on this site that will know.

Thanks so much for your quick reply. That's sounds simple enough and I will locate the black button the next time I want to use the campground provided cable.
Best Regards,
Bart

Here's a picture of what you are looking for; little black button and light beside the upper cable. You can also reduce interference from the roof antenna by unhooking the jumper cable directly below.
