Best bet may be to give the factory a call.

Try it and this is most likely what you will get:
"Your search - 1UJBJHBJ0E1XXXXX - did not match any documents"

I can't confirm the accuracy, but this is one RV VIN code breakdown:

1st digit--Country of origin

2nd digit--Manufacturer

3rd digit--Make

4th digit--Line

5th & 6th digits--Body style

7th digit--Restraint system

8th digit--Engine

9th digit--Check digit

10th digit--Year

RVS manufactured after 2000 show numerical designations. For example, 2001=1, 2002=2, etc. Those manufactured before 2001 show alpha designations; for example X=1999, and Y=2000. After 2009 the tenth character will revert back to alpha: 2010=A

11th digit--Assembly plant

12th to 17th digits--Sequence number

..... and for those that like to read:

Jayco PDF on VIN Breakdown

https://safercar.gov/MfrMail/ORG2735.pdf

I have a 1986 Jayco I tried to discover the model through the VIN, (alas, I am still trying) but I found this PDF that could be useful to others on the breakdown of the Jayco VIN.

You didn't post your camper model, but....

Usually the trailer VIN will be located somewhere on the trailer tongue. If you cannot find one there, check for plaques on other parts of the trailer. It may also be stamped onto the trailer frame itself. Sometimes a sticker will be in the door frame, or a label inside a cabinet door. I'm guessing you don't have a title or the original paperwork. I have never tried it, but if you have the license plate number of a vehicle supposedly you can also find the VIN number.

Have you crawled under for a look as well. The VIN is often stamped on a plate attached to one of the frame cross-members. Get under with a flashlight and you will probably find it.

The S- number is possibly a dealer stock number. Depending on which Buena Vista you live in, if there are only 1 or 2 Jayco dealers nearby (and if you think the trailer was probably local) call and ask if they have any information on that unit.

I found a hidden vin number under my 2012 HTT. It is a huge white plaque, and totally invisible. If I recall the numbers are about 1" tall.

I found it underneath, I do have an open underbelly. As I recall it is secured to the floor, maybe the frame rail (???) near the the passenger and rear wall corner. I have to be laying in just the right spot looking straight up to see it! On my TT, when you find it, it looks to be mounted in a wide open location, and should be easily viewed from anywhere under the rear of the TT. But you just do not see it unless you are in the right spot!

Currently the TT is on winter vacation and is not home, and I wont be able to verify exactly were it is mounted, but I hope that helps.

If do locate another hidden vin, please post it's location, along with what year type of camper.

Why don't you look on the title?
