White Hawk chairs

We have 2013 27 dslr , and am thinking of replacing the two rockers and swivel chairs that are by the entry way. Don't want to remove the wall mounted table between them at this point. So has anybody replace them and with what. Would love some thing with a foot rest as well, but am open to ideas. Our trailer was bought used and they seem rather low to the ground for me and I'm only 5"10" Thanks.

Hi Maax. I too would be interested in hearing what others have done with these chairs. Mine have both fallen apart with limited use. It seems that they used staples to attach the wooden supports for the legs instead of screws. In both cases the staples pulled out leaving the chairs wanting to rock forward and requiring extra effort just to sit straight up. As others have mentioned in other posts, these chairs are too big for the space they're supposed to fit in. This causes them to bang into either the valance of the window or the side table with the slighest swivel, or the rear window shade if you rock back without pulling the chairs out so far that they're in front of the couch. I would prefer much smaller, better built chairs. I hope we hear some suggestions from others.

We removed and sold our swivel rockers. We replaced one chair with an Ikea POANG chair and ottoman. We find them very comfortable and light enough to move easily.

We have the Ikea chair on the 'slide side' of our trailer. When rotated 90deg, it fits between the slide and the rear wall of our Jay Flight.

We put a small table on the 'door side.' The DW is an artist and that table is most often used as her art table with one of our dining chairs. She loves the light from the large rear window and keeping the dining table usable for, well, dining.

Post #16 in this link shows a photo of our replacement chairs in our 2014 27DSRL. They are from Lazyboy.
