White Hawk 29REKS
Jayco finally updated their web site - the new for 2014 White Hawk 29REKS. Ours is scheduled for the next production run in January - we went with the fireplace option. Looking forward to starting our camping journey in the spring!

Can't wait to see it! Keep us updated. So, have you looked (or booked) into a certain area for your first outing?

We've looked at several places, and are leaning towards one in particular (on Cape Cod, about 45 mins from home), but haven't booked anything yet because we're not sure exactly when we'll take delivery.

Congrats on the new Whitehawk. We love our 30dsre.
Every time one of the new floorplans are mentioned, I have to go to the website to get the detailed specks [length, weight etc]. thanks for including the layout drawing. Am guessing that the reks stands for rear entertainment center and kitchen slide?????

Has a lot of similar features as our 30dsre. Ours has the deep slide with couch and dining table and a kitchen slide [freestanding island rather than the "L" in your floorplan. Also the fireplace RE that we love. The opposing slides give you a surprising sense of space in the main salon area. We are a tribe of two and the floorplan is perfect. Suspect you will find your new one very much the same.
Enjoy the new year!!!

Congratulations! We learned the other day that ours is slated for an April build so we should be seeing it in May - can't wait!

I am pretty sure that we ordered our camper from the same place you did, Forrest Marine & RV. If you don't mind, how long ago did you order? How were you able to find our when yours was slated to be built?
thanks

We did order from Forrest Marine & RV, working with Julie, and she told us about the build date earlier this week. We initially met with her in early September and at that point she only had a fuzzy picture of the floor plan that Jayco had faxed to her. We really liked it, but were hesitant to order without seeing it first. We finally ordered in mid-November after they got the unit they have now, and that you've probably seen. We almost took that one, but decided to order as we really wanted the fire place. There's only two of us, and most likely another dog (Miniature Schnauzer) in the near future, so the space should be perfect.

We have also been told that our 2014 White Hawk 29 REKS is set for production in April. We would have like to see it arrive earlier but will have be wait. Since we both ordered from Forrest Marine & RV, they just might be arriving at the same time. The waiting games is not fun!
